Sounds like a nice combo. What kind of car did you have that engine in if you don't mind my asking?

No video. These are the only photos I have when I first got it.

The car is a 1981 Pontiac Lemans.

Only been down the track 3 times with the car. No safety equipment in the car at all so they dont let me run often and they know the car at the track. It is a pump gas street car.

That would be a great sleeper if it had those hub caps and ran in the 9's.
I am sure it does not look like that now nice car though.

                        N/A 91 octane 406ci here...

-Stock 4.155 block with billet front and 3 center splayed caps, 3/4 deck plugs, square/parallel decked and torqueplate bored and honed
                        -Ported Dart Pro-1's flows...you guess.
                        -Comp Cams 1.6 Pro Magnums
-Comp Cams Rev-Kit and stud girdles
                        -Comp Cams belt drive
-Scat 4340 internally balanced and lightened and a exact corrected stroke of 3.750" (yes, I had it checked and it was off)
                        -Eagle H-Beam rods
-Comp Cams custom solid roller (no, I'm not giving you the specs but the engine does want "more" cam )
                        -11.2:1 compression
-SRP pistons with Federal-Mogul file-fit low tension moly rings
-Calico coated rod, cam and main bearings
                        -Moroso "race" oil pump
                        -Ported Edelbrock Super Victor
-Barry Grant 4150-style annular booster 850cfm, but flows "more"
                        -2" Super Sucker carb spacer

Right now, it made 585hp on a "street" tune @ 39 degrees of total timing on 100% 91 octane. Next winter, I want to pull it out and grind another cam for it and dyno it again. The plan is to still do this on 91 octane and hit that 600hp mark...without touching anything with the current engine set-up. Yes, I am very proud of this engine I built. No one else has done it on the fuel that I use and made this kind of power (or not that I'm aware of) on a stock cubic inch small block...non-stroker. The others are big compression (having some need to run some sort of race gas or a mix)and/or strokers.

ahaha In a perfect world, Bob. Remember, this is on a 8" tire...providing I can hook it. I doesn't do too bad on the street launching at 4,000, so I guess we'll see. I will be at the track this summer with it.
