rear suspension on a 2wd truck

im contemplating the idea of modifying the rear suspension in my 90 dodge pickup and i was wondering what would be the best way to go. im not sure which would be better ladder bar, just the leafs and lowering it, or a full on four link. it gonna be mostly a street truck but i might run it a few times at the strip. if you feel like shedding some light please do so

If you plan on mostly street driving i would keep the leafs

alright. what i was thinkin was putting the springs under the frame and then puttin the axle on top of the springs to get the drop i want.
