No where near enough to beat me!!!!

Don't plan on beating you Tork, remember mine is a daily driver and yours is a race car for the track only!

If it's a DD I'm surprised that I never ever saw the car in NU last summer at all. Pretty much every night that I'm not at work I'm sitting in my parking lot watching traffic during the summer

Really, drove the car to work quite a bit last year. I'm not a cruising broadway kind've guy anymore. Getting a little too old for that stuff. Took the thing all the way to Sturgis this summer/8 1/2 hours one way with the cruise set at 82 and the tunes blarrin'. Got 20.8 miles to the gallon with the ice cold A/C on. If that's not a daily driver I don't know what is!?Traver

I hope your build goes well. But Imo the HP numbers being thrown around will take a healthy cam and valvetrain. I dont think you will be driving to Sturgis and or getting 20mpg any more.

it has to be a daily driver bacause it is illegal to run at the track and it doesnt have the chassis or suspension to beat much on the street. I am assuming thats why you call mine a drag car, because that is the only difference between mine and your car.

Les.........my QM600 is a pretty aggresive cam already wether you believe it or not. That cam and the 2 others I will be using will be pretty well as aggressive as you can get without going solid. Mind you, I'll be changing springs out every 10,000-15,000 miles, but it will be setup to do all the same things I did with the 427. Pull up to the Premium pump and drive away without worring about Knock. You might not think it can be done so I guess I will have to prove it! Traver

Traver, I never said it couldnt be done. You just touched on what I was saying. Valvetrain 10-15000 miles. If that is in the mix then mine is a street car as well. And I have a Solid roller. My car will and can be driven on the street , idle nice and run on pump gas. 110 comes from a pump right?

I never said it couldnt be done, infact I hope you do it! I was just saying you wont be driving it to sturgis and or getting 20mpg anymore. I am saying if it is in the 650-700HP range. It takes alot of head and cam to make that power. And if you decide to not go solid roller even harder. And what is agressive to you?

That would suck to change springs every 10-15,000 miles! But lets say you only put on 2,000 miles a year then you wont have to change them for 5-7years, which isnt too bad. But then again a daily driver normally puts on way more miles than that in a year
