Yeah that was the worst of the car other than some minor door and rear quarter cancer the car is solid with very little bondo in the body. That was the big reason I bought. Yeah it's alot of work but at least I don't have to hang quarters and etc. With that I got the guy to come down 3k.

Is it bad enough that you need to worry about the body twisting? Did you add any kind of support to it while you're replacing panels?

From what I can tell the body wasn't twisted. The tunnel and rockers were all solid. Just have the one issue with the driver side frame rail but I think I have a solution to that problem. The car sits level and tracks straight while going down the road.

Got passenger side cut out and car didn't colapse kind of happy there. Cut the welds and parts of the floor with an air chisle worked awesome. Although I was yelled at by my daughter when she heard the air hammer in the house she opened the door and said "Daddy quit farting" and slammed the door. Try and get pics up today or tommorow.

Do you have replacement pans, or are you fabricating them? Like you said, at least the rockers are still good.

Not to be a smart ass but I wouldn't have cut that big of a hole if I didn't full pans. Full pans and fire sections for both sides only ran about $125 the expensive part is going to be the seat pedastools cause they also double as bracing. Haven't seen both side for less than $130. I thought about fabing them but the add a decent amount of structure to the body. They run from the tunnel to the rockers. Oh yeah my rockers are just fine.

Lol, I've learned not to take anything for granted online. I guess I was thinking a lot was taken out since that side didn't look that bad.

Yeah I here ya. Sometimes it's better to take more than needed it also makes for mor easy welding. Only have to do seams and spots.
