Was not worried about driving the car there minus the gas. It's the what if? Yeah it's a street car? But what if I drive it there and break it. How the hell do I get home? In the long run the money spent to rent a hauler is worth it. Just think of what it would cost? Stuck on the side of the road 3 hours away from your garage.
Anyways I found one.
Can't wait to hit the track.

I saw a mustang on the side of the road on the trailer with a wheel missing on the trailer today.

A little change?
Removed the over the axel exhaust as it was turing the bumper black and dump it before the axel with just some turn down I made up.
It has a different sound and needs some tuning. Took it out for a drive tonight and didn't think that it was going to change it that much?

I dunno. I ran my wife's '69 396 camaro with similar heads cam etc but it had 3.73 gears and I couldn't get better than high 13's out of it. That was back in the 70's though. After I switched to a "service" quadrajet from the 780 it felt quicker but I never got back to the track with it.
I was disappointed in the ET's because I had the same cam etc in my 454 Chevelle and it was well into the 12's.
Man! How cool is that to be able to race with your dad.
Just have fun with your car. Keep adjusting and tuning and you'll be fine.
