Looks like fuel prices are going to go through the roof this year and I do not want to buy race gas. I have a couple of options but I am learry on the E-85
option as even though it is cheaper, It looks like you can use a ton more of fuel. I talked to Montyboo last fall and when he went to the Grove he runs E-85. still sounds like the savings you get from using E-85 goes away with the large amount you use.
Scott said that he made more power but went through buckets of the stuff.
I may go to my tried and true 461 BB add some aluminum heads, Roller cam,
then spray the crap out of it. The engine went 11.17 in my firebird with a 100 shot letting off @ the end (ran out of gear) of the track. I have some good parts but it still is fun to say I ran a 9 sec time with a wimpy 350:rlol:
We will have to see, I just like running pump gas like last year. Add 100 cu.in.
and that sould knock off some time. 12 flat now with a 350 and with some good heads on a 461 car should do 11 teens.
