Well I traded my cart for something that actually runs (for now). This also needs some parts to get it restored so I figured I would start a build thread if I go overboard with mods just let me know. :laugh_smile:

Here it is when I picked it up..



The rear tire was flat so last week I ordered a new set of tires and tubes.
They came today, I am going to get cracken on it so I can feel the wind in my hair while I still have it. They look like sweeties and are ones for max speed :devil:



License plate is all beat up so I had to order a frame to clean it up a bit, this is the one I got.



Next the newspaper racks come off, and a good scrubbing and I have to true the front wheel a bit then see what I need for other goodies.

Ok got some progress done today, changed the back tire did a tiny bit of cleaning and the most important part is those racks are off.

Took it out on a top speed run and she did 30 on the GPS it wanted to go 31 but just didn't have it today. I think once I get that front wheel trued up and change the tire and I know it will go 32. Seems to run great...!! Just have to order up a speedo cable and a couple other top secret parts and then she will be ready to race a couple silver puchs I know of.

"The place" as in my garage..... LIKE ITS HARD.....!??!

Buy some powder online, prep it, dust it and then take the tank off your grill and mount it to your heater and melt it with propane heater.
If you can make a grilled cheese sandwich you can powder coat.




Oh, then put the tank back under your grill and have BBq chicken wings.
