Really though it doesn't look all that hard a guy with a shop and skills like yours can have that cranked out in 2 weekends once you get all the parts needed. Just port the intake a bit pulley it down and you could prob have that thing in the 11's since all the weight is in the back anyway. Just so happens you know where one of these things are that needs a motor. Better yet run it on E85 and the thing would haul since we could bump up the timing since we can do that PCM with EFI live as well. Didn't think of that did ya? Damn to bad I don't have the skillz or space or I would do it.

Go for it! The SC 3800 is fun even in my 3,500-lb wrong-wheel-drive GTP. Dropping 700 pounds & driving the correct set of wheels could only make things better! I remember a particular blown 3800 Fiero that used to cruise Uni. The thing was so lumpy - it sounded like a Cup car when it rolled into Porky's. Not sure what all was done to the motor, but it sounded like Alex Van Halen's drum solo at the beginning of Hot for Teacher...

This was my first thought with the Caddy motor many, many moons ago.
