yes matt the k frame is nice, the rack turns a little less than the stock mopar box, hopefully it wont be a problem, mr. hp, square peg yes, this thing has a ford bolt pattern crank so I designed a crank adapter, had it drawn and machined and it worked out pretty good, it is .800" thick and has the ford bolt pattern counter sunk for cap screws, this will bolt to the crank, then the stock mopar bolt pattern is threaded into the adapter and mocks the mopar crank for the converter and flex plate to bolt up, then I trimed the adapter plate that mounts the 727 to this block so it uses the stock mopar starter, now I will start on headers, I missed the measurement on the crank adapter by .060" so I need to add the mid plate spacer to make up this measurment, lots of work yet but I am plugging away at it, here are some pics of the motor mounts I machined to bolt to the nascar engine plate and fit my car, turned out really nice, so far I am happy about how everything is turning out, the only thing that has me worried is the torque that motor in the vid is putting out, I still have to dyno mine so I am hopeing it is a little better, wont know till I do it I guess, also had to modify the oil pan to clear the rack, so now the oil system is a 4 stage dry sump instead of a 5 stage but I don't think that should matter much since this thing will only see 9000 rpm for 1/4 mile blast's, if it is a problem I will have to add the third pickup back to the pan some where.
no one out worth racing so when there is I will finish it up
There are plenty of fast cars here in the Twin Cities if you want to tangle with someone to test it out. I watched an RX-7 with a giant turbo race that had some footage at BIR and he runs in the mid-8's. I am sure he will race you, Just log on to the TCS and look up MAP performance and PM him that's where he resides.
