  • 68 camaro - Trans Am Race Replica

I know I have had this in some of the other threads, but I figured with updates happening, it would make sense to have it here.

    Updates as of tonight.

Looks very good Shawn, what is that blue called you are using? Very sharp color!

On the other hand... That Robin Egg is pretty sporty..

LOL, yeah not to fond of the Robin Egg Blue, but the actual Blue I really like.

I'm not sure what its called, but its from Mitsubishi? Very Close to Dodge blue on the new vehicles, but a bid deeper.

I think I got the car in October, so I've been at it for 4 months or so. It should be done by now, but I got lazy for a month or so in the heart of winter, but now it feels like spring so game is on!!!!

Brake lines all got ran last night, buttoning this thing up, just fine details is all that is left, then back to the paint booth. Well that's assuming the brake system is good once filled up, and tranny works, and engine is fine.

With my luck, there will be some time working out all the unknown bugs.

Big Bad Camaro..... LOL! I wouldn't go that far. I'm sure there's going to be a load of hidden gremlins to work out before I'm doing any of that.

A simple drive down the road with no problems is my 1st goal. I'm probably a couple weeks out yet realistically. All the beautification stuff has to happen yet. I'm planning on firing it for the first time early this week. Then it'll go for exhaust etc. late in the week. The to final paint after that.

For those interested...... The Camaro is very... close to completion.... just some waiting on some Billet Aluminum pieces and working the bugs out of it.....

check out the build link if your interested.
