Formula to Gta drag car project

Here is my latest project:

90 formula:

Exterior:
Gta body kit
2 tone paint
low rise spoiler
dragslicks and skinnys
shaved door handles
shaved antenna

Engine:
355 ci brodix alu. heads 2.02s
weiand 164ci roots supercharger
nos 100shot
holley 770 cfm carb

Transmission:
700r4 wtih shift kit and 2200 stall

Rear end:
posi with detroit locker

Why the 700R4? If its going to be a all drag Car I would go with a built 350 or 400 trans and then bump that stall up to 3500+ depending on your cam spec. Those trans will be more reliable, lighter and faster than a 700r4 cause of the gearing ratios.

I mean its your car but if you choose to keep the 700r4 you would see no problems going with a way bigger stall cause of the lockup converter....

The reason for the 700r4 is that its done right now, and working, but there is definately a th350 or th400 in the near future.

Yeah its the same color, maybe a little darker cause I put more black into it, the top half is black metallic which looks sweet. Its tuff picking colors for firebird, gta, trans am, because everybody has a red, white, black, or maroon one, and the owner is very picky. lol

I change my mind every day and really like both of them. I might have you pick it, spray it and suprise me. Don't worry about the intake Chase, there is a new LSX intake coming out in march or so I am going to get. If you do paint an intake, you wont have to prep it. lol

Get rid of that 770 and put an 850 dp on that motor it's going to need it
A freind of mine back in the 80's had one of those blowers and he went with B&Ms rec. on carbs I told him to do the same thing he went to the rock and picked up a ton of et and mph by doing it.
