The mid and top end seem much better. I think a cam would really help it out.
I agree, why didnt you do it when it was all stripped down? I see you have a diff can with hoses, just curious how you have the closed crankcase/pcv system setup.

Well, I could have afforded a cam but I didn't have the money to do a converter to match the rpm range. I would probably be smart to do a shift kit at the same time to take away some of the added stress to my weak AOD. ;)

I am still running a PCV system. I had to grind out the oil baffels in the valve covers below the vent tube to fit the new rockers. So all I did was put a catch can in the vent tube system to stop oil from getting to the throttle body when the PCV isn't in vacuum.
Plus I got the can for free!

sweet good call on the catch can. How many miles on that aod? Mine went to crap at 113k, with bolton like yours. Had it rebuilt then a year or so later built a 347 stroker and that tranny lasted for maybe 2 months

HaHa, yeah, I'll wait for it to blow up and then think about upgrades. What did you go with?

Didn't think so. You know, you trust these companies to give you a good quality product and they screw you over!
