  • Full Size Truck Sales 2014

Chev and GMC combined came within 12,263 units.

Pretty funny they had to add F450-F950 in with the mix to give F-Series the top spot. Ford sold 12,000 F450s alone.

Ford still trying to market their Ecoloser as better than what's offered by GM & Ram.

This quote pretty much DESTROYS a Ford lover's claim that Ecoloser is better than GM:

    Oh is that so?
    In what, fuel mileage?? WRONG
    What bout performance?? WRONG
    What about reliability?? WRONG
    Warranty?? WRONG
    Resale?? WAY WRONG
6.2L Mops the floor with any EcoBust in all 3 categories, and will last more than twice as long with no issues.
Go drink some more kool aide, and drive your ECOBUST around and make sure you drive it hard so you don't get carbon build up LOL!!

That's not a surprise to me at all.

Turbocharged gasoline engines are excellent in freewheeling apps, such as cars. As the saying goes, the laws of thermodynamics heavily favor turbocharging. But turbocharged gas-burners are at a distinct disadvantage in lugging apps where the turbo is spooled-up most of the time - such as in trucks that spend most of their time pulling heavy stuff and/or attempting to shove huge amounts of air out of the way at highway speeds. A larger-displacement direct-injected n/a gasser or turbodiesel would be a much better choice for those apps - with the turbodiesel beating the large-displacement n/a gas-burner by a significant margin.
