Yeah, I can't remember the last time I watched an NHRA TV drag race event. More entertaining than watching golf though...not by much.
1,000 ft. drag race? How about if a track doesn't have the proper shut down area...they can't have a sanctioned TF or FC race?
I like technology, but Whit is right. How about putting more driver skill back into getting the car down the track? I know these cars are dangerous, but driver experience should top a rookie. If a rookie can use their skills to beat a veteran, then they deserve the recognition.
The problem with trying to change most of these things? SPONSORS. The sponsors aren't likely to spend millions and not have their car in the winners circle.
