2015 Mustang?

They've got to do something if they want to compete with the upcoming Camaro, built on GM's world-class corner-carving Alpha platform with IRS, which is currently used for the Caddy ATS & will also be used for the 2015 Buick GN/GNX. It weighs around 3400 lbs with the Camaro V8, has a 50/50 weight ratio, and IRS. It's a RWD platform that also supports AWD, so GM can take the fight to Audi if they wish. Its handling prowess in Caddy ATS trim has already scared the likes of Audi & BMW.
It's the dawn of a new era: Lightweight, well-balanced American muscle-cars with the straight-line performance we love, that can also carve corners with the best of Europe's sport-coupes & sport-sedans. The new Camaro brings the age-old pony-car fight to a new arena, where handling prowess & 'fun-to-drive factor' are every bit as important as straight-line acceleration. Just imagine how quickly a 3400 lb V8 Camaro with a 50/50 ratio, IRS, and a world-class corner-carving chassis would bury the current Mustang in the twisties! Wouldn't even be a contest. If Ford wants the Mustang to be competitive at this level, they need to seriously up their game.

The looks don't bother me, the retro crazy is pretty much dead. Have heard there going to be a 4 cylinder ecoboost engine. Im sure it will be on par if not better then Camaros perfomace. So what will the next gen Camaro look like? Sad thing is no Dodge pony car to compete.
