Dick Trickle dies at age 71

Short-track racing legend Dick Trickle was found dead today from an apparent suicide. He drove to a local cemetery, called authorities and said that a dead body would be found there, and it would be his. He was found near his pickup, dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. Dick was one of the best short-track drivers in history. He won over 1,000 feature races during his career - more wins than any race-car driver in history. He was still racing the short-tracks around Wisconsin before his death.
