Hmmmm? Didn't they have to have a certain number of cars produced before it could be run in Nascar?, my how things change?
(I know, that fell apart long ago!)
Maybe they should change their initials to INASCAR? "Inter National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing"Last edited by Titan5; 02-17-2013, 02:02 AM.

Yeah, I read some of the opinions. Most objected to it not being available with a manual tranny. Others absolutely didn't like the lack of creativity on the front end. Was surprised to not hear many complain about Government Motors.
What never fails to amaze me is the very people who say the shortcomings will cause them not to buy, most likely have no intention of buying anything anyway. Most probably couldn't afford a bicycle. lol

Impala will be FWD and share the Epsilon II with the Caddy XTS (same platform as LaCrosse too I believe). Will have two 4 cylinder engines and the 303 HP 3.6 liter V6. Going to be more of a mass-production vehicle.
The Chevy SS will be RWD - they are saying right now LS3 + 6 spd auto but in a year or so I believe they will offer the LT1 + 6 spd option. Basically it's a new gen G8 GXP with Chevy badges plus a better interior.
I like the styling on the Impala - it was definitely due for a refresh. And for the SS - anything GM makes that is a big comfy 4 door with RWD and V8 is cool in my book.
