Despite the vast hp difference, the Boss 302 was right there in 1/4 ET.
Ford can't match GM's computer controlled shocks/suspension though and that will be the case with the GT500.
Wonder how many years will go by before Ford copies the magnetic ride control? Just like GM's frame hydroforming process which was introduced on the Corvette and later utilized on the GM trucks and SUVs then copied by Ford.

I thought the Boss would do better then it did but GMs suspension out matched it. Hope Ford does copy some aspects of it on the next gen stang, independent rear, bigger tires and keeps the weight down. This does make for good competition though.

Oh yeah it should be quicker with equal drivers (whatever that means) if it can get traction. My point was that the Boss ran real close with a big HP disadvantage so the GT500 should have a superior et. I still don't think the GT500 has the suspension technology to match the ZL1 on the Nurburgring. The HP advantage won't overcome the technology. I might be wrong but I doubt it.
