Going to take a chance and ask the old timers here a question.
Friend of mine has a 39 Ford 2dr sedan. Bone stock. He can't get the rear drums off. Tried a couple of pullers and actually broke them and the drums didn't budge. He's had the axel nut loose and driven it at least 15 miles and they won't budge.
These are taper fit, not modern.
He had them off about 2 years back to turn the drums, so they've been off in the not real distant past.
Ideas?
Thanks, we appreciate any thoughts on it.
