  • A NEW technology book by david vizard

For those who really dig into technical subjects I would like to recommend a very good NEW technology book by david vizard. It generally seems to be about small block chevy engines but its sold that way to appeal to a buying market. Throughout the years, david has been A pioneer of new engine technologies. He has written over 100 books, was the first to spread specific worldwide information about thermal engine coatings, was the first to expeiriment with 30 degree valve seats in a bathtub chamber, was the first to experiment and create a formula for exhaust terminations into resinators and collector boxes, is the creator of four valve polyquad technology, was the first to write about performance quenchless combustion chambers and pioneered the idea that these are competitive if the fuel atomization is that of LARGER fuel droplets. The greatest technical writer of all times.

Maximum performance chevy small blocks on a budget, volume two.

I read on his site that he was not going to be on there anymore due to health reasons.
    Any truth to this?

He seems fine but I didn't ask. Hes not on that site because of a conflict of intrest with another guy that is now running it.

He has respritory problems from time to time which is why he would never be here in minnesota. He was moving to a new house last weekend and made no mention of physical difficulty. He was located 12 minutes north of the charolette N.C. airport but now hes 10 more minutes north in mount holly N.C.

Now his house and shop is all in one place so he can stay more focused. The old shop owned by Don Lapito is super cool though with a five axis CNC machine cranking out some super big ford motors for nascar builder/participant Don Lapito. He always seems to surround himself with things nessesary to contiue his passion and the list of machines and goodies in his new shop is quite long so he's not slowing down anytime soon.

His new site is motortecmagazine. You navigate by turning pages like a book. Its hard to see because the images are so dark but if you click in the lower corner of the pages it will flip the page.
Be shure to check it out but, hes not finished with it yet. He's going to put much more time into it next month so check it out again around thanksgiving.
