I've seen these type of concepts long ago in 5.0 mustang mag and when I worked at a Ford dealership which was over 2yrs ago, maybe chevy copied Fords concept style for there camaro

Hmmm...the new Camaro has styling hints of the '69 quarter panels and grille. The taillights also have hints of styling from a '69. The "cowl style" hood looks nothing like a Ford product....it looks all GM. Remember...GM was the first to offer the cowl style hood. The rest of the car looks nothing like a Mustang concept.

Quite a few people have complained about the new Camaro looking too retro, while others say it's too futuristic, to others saying it has too many lines.

But I don't understand how anyone can say it looks like a Mustang or Mustang concept.

I dunno, it's hard to keep everybody happy with a design. All a manufacturer can do is appeal to the majority. Look at the new Challenger, and I've said this before they built them...the car doesn't differentiate itself enough from the old ones. Plus...actually...the old ones were probably quicker. One would think that with all the new technology gains since 1970, the car should be considerably quicker.

The car is a heavy pig and the track times are mediocre. Hemi? mmmkay Yeah sure.

I'm glad they're building them, but for the price...you can buy other cars that will give you a bigger bang for the buck.

When the Challenger and the Camaro concepts were at the Mpls auto show, the Challenger only had a handful of people standing around it, but when we walked over to the Camaro display, you could hardly get close to it because there were so many people around it.

It remains to be seen how the new Camaro will sell though, because the economy sucks now. Maybe it will be considerably better by the time it shows up next year.
