June 2008 Sales Results:
June 2008 sales outpaced June 2007! You would never believe it by listening to or reading the News! It is indeed true for the Minneapolis Zone and DMA. June sales performance had it's challenges across the USA for nearly every Manufacturer including Toyota . However, the Mpls St. Paul Zone 5112 sold 1,842 vehicles Vs. an objective of 1,979 for 93.1% attainment. June sales were up 3.5% vs the 1,780 sales during June 2007. The NC Region and National GM sales for June 2008 were off -1.6% and -16.7% respectively. The Zones Chevrolet passenger car sales objective attainment reached 95% (lack of inventory) and Chevrolet Truck obj. came in at 100.3%. Silverado was clearly #1 and Impala was clearly #2 in sales volume leaders for June 2008.
The Minneapolis St. Paul DMA's June 2008 retail Chevrolet sales were up 6.6% Vs. June 2007, exceeding the Zones sales performance. Dealers accomplished year over year sales gains in June 2008 with Cobalt, Equinox, HHR, Impala and Suburban. CYTD June, 2008, the Mpls St. Paul DMA dealers accomplished sales gains with Aveo, Cobalt, Equinox, HHR, Impala and Malibu .
Congratulations goes to the 23 GM dealers who achieved 100% or greater of their June retail sales objective. The Top 5, Sales Percent Attainment to Objective Leaders are House Chevrolet #1 with 183%, followed by Clements Auto with 176%, Murphy Chevrolet with 176%, Cernohous Chevrolet with 174%and Lake Chevrolet with 146%.

Total New Retail Truck Sales Friendly Chevrolet 78
Total New Passenger Car Sales Polar Chevrolet 61 Rounding out the top five Total New Chevrolet Sales Volume Leaders for June, are Luther Brookdale Chevrolet 91, Merit Chevrolet 84 and Village Chevrolet with 73 and Lupient Chevrolet with 65.
