News channel investigates stores with hidden cameras attached to vehicles. They're changed for work that was never done at 5 out of 9 stores. Workers and managers won't give any explanation when busted.
I know you and your place are reputable Ryan but my gad got ripped at a GY place years ago I had to take a day off and prove what they did wrong, But then again I have seen the same at the dealers I used to work at too, I hate it when techs rip off customers it makes it look bad for everyone in the industry and you are right about that.
That's one reason I don't think I ever want to work at dealers again it's more about money than taking care of someones car right and sell them what they need.
We used to call them Jippy lube.

Goodyear stores are 90% independent. I will not sell a part on a car If i feel its not justifiable once the tech brings me the ticket to estimate and sell
I love when this sort of thing gets broke wide open. I hate peopl like thatand seeing them crash and burn is awesome. I'm a contractor and come across people who have paid for work up front and never heard anything from the mannabe contractor again. makes it hard for me to collect deposits sometimes but at least it weeds out some of the competition who shouldn't be competition.
