Of those you listed, I like NAILHED the best. Have you thought about LEDSLED?

If you go with SLOWONE, I'd love to get some pics of your '63 & my GN parked side-by-side.

Didn't think about the Merc connection, but I see your point. I used to have a lot of fun with nailheads when I was a high-school kid. I had a couple of 401 nailheads, and I also dropped a dual-quad 425 nailhead from a wrecked Riviera GS into a '63 LeSabre. I put in a manual control switch for the variable-pitch torque-converter on the two-speed trans. It wasn't a looker - but it could run an honest 14.7 in the quarter on street tires with posi. I surprised a few guys at the lights with that car....

I look forward to seeing yours when it's ready.

                    Personal Plates

I had an unforseen problem with personal plates. I had the county office check on the availability of the plate options I wanted. The order form has 3 choices. You list them in preferential order. The ones that they told me were available, were not. Later I found out that the only way to be sure is to call the state office headquaters in St. Paul.

                          Tom,

Interesting - I had the same experience when I ordered them for my GTP. By the way - I'm planning to attend the MGNTA meeting next Thurs. - see you there.

                            63sword

                            You know...sword = sabre

I was watching Perry Mason one night and Paul Drake asked a witness what kind of car he saw driving away from the murder scene. The guy replied in a New york accent: it was a sword. Paul was confused and asked "a sword?" The guy said you know...a Lesabre

                            sabre [ sáybər ]

noun (plural sabres)Definition: 1. heavy sword with curved blade: a heavy cavalry sword with a slightly curved blade that is sharp on one edge
