You know when I use the van I get 30 MPG. How do you drive that thing that it gets that bad of milage? As a matter of fact it uses way more oil when you drive it tooTraver
Who needs a dyno I just tune at the track. It's cool though if someone wants to spend money on a dyno session as there is a lot one can learn.
If I ever do go I will now be looking at tuning for some fuel mileage and I know I can do it with a wideband o2 and a meter. Either way things are much more advanced then tuning cars back in the 70's.
I was not tying to be mean spirited on that and that is why I said it's cool.
I am sure that if I had the chance to do some things myself or change the peramiters when car is on the rollers I would learn a lot. Hell I used to make changes go out on the hwy. and pound on my car and change something else and try it again. Lucky I never got cought that there would pay to have a dyno session.
I would agree with your statement 100% 98 cobra s/c.........that is why I keep going back to old man Rippie, at least I know what a I accomplished!? Traver
