It's been a tough couple weeks, as I lost another dear friend from the 70's. Willie "Buchie" Bingham Jr. passed on Nov 12th. Buchie was always hanging with my brother Clarence and me whenever he heard Clarence had a match race with his famous '65 Chevelle SS. He always said to Clarence with trembling hands (because he was so excited) --"man I just want to flag you off" (starting line). lol. And was always interested in what mods Clarence had done to his Chevelle. Once he came up to me and said he heard Clarence had put new gears in and asked what size. I said 4.88s and he took a big puff of his cigarette and said "dem 88s is nice". He bought a '57 Chev Bel Air from another late friend Rusty Robinson and cruised around Cairo, IL. Just a fun loving and happy guy. RIP my friend.
