Ready for snow???

I'm ready with a nice shiny Ariens Deluxe 30" 2 stage snow blower. I love the heated grips and auto-turn feature. Got it's little brother the Mighty 520 for smaller jobs too. Bring on the white stuff.

Fuck, I'm never ready for snow. No winter hobbies to speak of. Loved my Ariens Deluxe at my old place in the country! Never saw anything it couldn't just breeze right through! Not enough to clear here to warrant a blower. Neighbor kids shovel the front & back sidewalks, plus our two parking spots in front of the garage.

Got the Subie ready for winter. Also got the body-work done, so it doesn't look like a POS anymore. Should put some better tires on it, but after just spending nearly $8k on the GN, plus the $500 deductible on the Subie's bodywork along with almost $1k to put a lower ball-joint in it, I don't feeling spending another grand on tires right now. The ones it has still have over 60% tread left so they're not shot - they just suck on anything but dry roads.

I'm driving up to Warroad this weekend. Gonna spend T-day week up there. No snow to speak of yet up there, but they're getting highs in the 20s & even down into the teens already. Hope they get some decent cold temps up there this winter. Last year, the resorts couldn't even use any of their full-sized vehicle based track jobs on Lake of the Woods because the ice was so shitty all season. Only snowmobiles & 4-wheelers with track kits were out there last winter. The resort owners lost a shitload of money.

Ya she's going to be cold this weekend, but damn it been a pretty nice year except for the rain in the summer. I got a lot done from last Dec. until this past week. Hey Joel, I just picked up a Ariens Deluxe 30" 2 stage snow blower. Got it all fixed up ready to go, but mother nature is just not co-operating with me so far.
