NHRA Pro Stock driver Paul Pittman had a tough day on Sunday at the NHRA Mopar Mile High Nationals outside of Denver, Co. Pittman qualified for this event in just his fourth attempt and even scored a holeshot against heavily favored first round opponent Allen Johnson. After getting out of the groove, Pittman drifted towards the centerline and then darted hard to the right.
I remember Paul back in the 70's out at the Rock with his Challenger that was jacked up so high in the rear it looked like a shit house ready to tip over one racer said at the race one day. Paul was not amused by that. RIP Paul you were a great guy.
