I learned my lesson that road course racing is not good for drag radials

I bet not! Back in my music biz in the '80s, we used to play at that bar that's close to BIR. Was absolutely nuts during NHRA week! Well...I used to drive my Yamaha XS 500 to gigs in the summer, and I got the bright idea to do a lap on the track that surrounds the drag-strip. Wide-open @ 1:30 AM, turning 13 grand @ 130 MPH with no mufflers! Heard the sirens coming as I was heading back to the motel!

I had a blast at powercruise when I owned my 1994 Z/28 and beat the crap out if that car up there. I would take my Camaro up there now but they only have like 1 session for drag racing with eliminations on Sunday so it's not worth the money or time to spent for me. I am sure Roy the shoW off will be there with his Nova.
