Hell-Kitty pulled a Sloss and left early. Love the whistle of the Buick's turbo. Don't know if I'd wanna race into a slight curve in the road though.

LOL! He left early & still got trounced by the little V6! Gotta love it! :D And yeah - even though mine can manage ~0.9Gs on the skidpad after I had the body off the frame & replaced everything with PST polygraphite & installed Eibach springs plus all of the GNX body & frame stiffeners, there's no way in hell that I'd drag-race around a corner with it! Way too many things that could go wrong, and most of 'em would probably kill somebody @ triple-digit speeds.

I remember bitch slapping a Hellcat Challenger at the Rock in 2019 with my crummy SBC car. I looked at him after the race and said "who else wants to dance" lol.

Hah! Good one! At least the Kitty drivers I beat with the GN were decent about it & gave me a thumbs-up at the next light. Unlike that M5 driver I smoked twice in a row on Snelling up by the fairgrounds back in the Porky's days in the late '90s when I lived in Roseville - before I did most of the performance mods. Was his idea. We had our windows down & I even yelled "You know this isn't a Monte Carlo SS, right?" He nodded. I beat him badly. He wanted to go again @ Larpenteur. I smoked him again. At the next light, he was flipping me the bird. Was so funny, I wrote a poem about it:

There once was this guy with an M5
Who thought he had a pretty quick ride
He challenged my GN to a race
And wound up with egg on his face

I asked if he knew what it was - he said yes
I told him that it wasn't a Monte Carlo SS
I gave him a chance to back out
But he was determined to race me, no doubt

We raced from a dig on the light
Within a few feet, he had my tail lights in sight
At the next light we stopped, and he wanted some more
We raced once again - and I beat him once more

He wasn't a very good loser, I figure
As he pounded the wheel....and gave me the finger
The moral of the story is then
If you drive an M5, don't stoplight-race a GN
