Well...no cruising for me this weekend. Was gonna check out Lyndale tonight, but had no fuel pressure. Ran just fine on the way home Tues night. Checked the usual stuff, with no luck. Looks like I'll have to get it towed to the shop on Monday.

Had the GN towed to the shop yesterday - but they won't be able to look at it until Monday. Hope it's just another relay or connection issue & not the Walbro 340 pump crapping out. Hoping to drive up to Wagner's for the Mon night cruise-in.

Wagner's car show was packed tonight as the wife and I went over to Menard's for a few things. Might go next week.

Figured it would be busy last night. They sorta postponed the owner's 60th bday party from the 9th to the 16th. I'll be there next week if the wx is decent.

Got the GN back from the shop today. Was the same relay that went bad last year. Seems odd that the original relay that came with the Walbro 340 & the hotwire kit lasted from the late '90s until last fall (that's well over 100,000 mi), but the replacement relay that was also rated for 30A only lasted for ~2000 mi or so. WTF?

Went up to CRB with the GN for a couple hrs tonight. Wasn't as busy as I expected, but there was some cool iron out. I didn't park anywhere & hang out, though. Just cruised, did the curbside-crawl through the usual hangout spots, and checked out the iron. Anyone else go up there tonight?

Didn't make it up to Wagner's, but I did go to the Summer Rods Tues Nights get-together in the church parking lot just east of Nicollet on 104th St in Bloomington last night. Not as good a turnout as the last time I went, but there were some cool cars.

Found out that the Fri night So. Lyndale cruise is still happening. People are hanging out in the Applebee's lot on Lyndale & 96th St S.

Went there tonight. No cruise - but a lot of cars were hanging out in the Applebee's parking lot on 96th & Lyndale. Found out that it's the replacement for the El Loro Fri-Sat car meet that ended last fall when the El Loro restaurant closed. Happens every Fri & Sat evening, from ~6-9 PM. Great day for cruising today! Took the GN out & gave her a wash, then filled up with 93 octane. HOLY SHIT!! It was $5.39/gal! Last time I put gas in the GN at the same station a couple weeks ago, it was $4.69. Cruised around the lakes & parkways for awhile. Good thing the GN gets decent in-town mileage if you keep your foot out of the turbo. Lots of people out walking, biking, and driving their ragtops.

It's supposed to be decent tomorrow & Friday, but rainy on Sat. Thinking about checking out Minnetonka Drive-In tomorrow night. And I'll probably check out Applebee's on Lyndale & 96th again on Fri night.

Went down to Applebee's on Lyndale last night. Some nice iron there! And one of the GN club members was there with his GNX that has 600 HP @ the wheels!

Fuck, it was $12/gal @ Beach's in Long Lake a month ago, when I decided to treat the GN to some real gas. Looks like I need to go to Kisch's next time!
