Looks Like LS Engines Have a New Problem

Sounds like from what I am reading this past week that older LS engine are having trouble with the Powdered metal seat dropping out of the head. Couple that with the problem GM had with the Powdered metal valve guide problem that most of the LS7's had make one wonder if this is a good material for some of these critical areas of an engine. I know I have PM rods in my 358 SBC and have had no trouble and all LS engines are PM rod also. Might be because the seat and guide issue is PM material wears out faster that other materials that have been used in the past.
