New BBC Peanut Port Results Today

Finally got a BBC to run as hard as my little SB Cheeby's. Went to the Muscle Car Race and after some tuning and testing a few spacers the car clicked off a, get this,

11.29@116mph today
1.54 60ft
7.10 1/8 mile

Truly amazing to think that a 8:1 compression big old truck engine with tiny little ports can run that quick and fast. Everything else in the short block was the same as last October.

I think I finished the season with a

11.26@117mph
1.53 60ft.
7.07 in the 1/8 mile

Truly a impressive set of heads with the low compression. Next test on this engine will be the Vortec L-29 BBC heads and if they perform like the SB ones do we should see some 10's next year.

Great times, especially 1/8th mi. I missed out on going to RF this year. Plan to go a lot more next year though.

If you like those 1/8 mile times how about a 6.86@97.5mph with the little 406 this year.
