11.50's huh, My little 406 would make quick work of him at the track.

I dunno, I remember not too long ago, 10s or even 11s was quick for a drag car. Now cars like this Z06 can run those times and dip into the 10s with a tire change and tune, then drive cross country, getting over 20 mpg with cold a/c. I gotta say I'm impressed. Plus that guy really wasn't a top notch driver or wasn't trying his best.

I am sure if one could get a late model car to launch the way a drag car does there would be a lot of broken parts soon in the driveline.
