Like I said earlier today -- glad it's not as chopped as the previous version. Now that I look at it--maybe it still is chopped?

I am diggin' the blue model, now IMO if GM would have smoothed the lower parts of the doors and made the rear bumper smoother it would have been a bigger impact for me. I watched the CNBC spot in the other thread and the V6 sounds bad ass.

In the past--when changing to a next gen, there was always substantial differences in the body design. Looks like they didn't vary too much from the previous gen. Maybe due to being on a new platform?
I first thought they raised the roof slightly, but now that I look at it--maybe not so much?
The instrumentation is much better. I didn't care for the looks of the old ones.

Here is the base LS 2016 Camaro, looks like GM is trying to re-invent the Aztec again, YUK.

Chevy is leaving no stone unturned in its quest for Mustang crushing volume. Such extremes is Chevy taking that they will offer a -LS trim for the Camaro which will slot in below the 1LS and 2LS packages.

Black plastic cladding adorns the front and rear bumpers, sill moulding, mirrors and door handles. Paint options will be limited to Hyper Blue, Nightfall Grey, Red Hot, Black and White. Steel wheels (available in black or unpainted steel ) come pre wrapped in Dunlop Graspic DS-3 winter tires, this is Chevrolets response to snow belt area owners complaints that P245/55R18 Summer rubber is far too unreliable in as little as 2 inches of snow.

The interior is rumoured to include a front bench seat with hideaway arm rest, its a subtle touch of retro on Chevrolets part. AM/FM radio, manual windows and heat round out the rest of the standard interior equipment.

                  Prices are expected under $20,000

Trying to figure out what part of the Camaro looks like an Aztek. I doubt the LS will account for more than a few % of sales though.

I think he was talking about the non-painted bumpers. It does look rather poor like that, would it not be just cheaper to cast the plastic bumpers the same color as the car.
