Yeah Bob, that rear-end would definitely take some getting used to!
Sorta reminds me of what one of my high-school hot-rodding buddies did to his red '66 'Cuda Formula S, which came with the 235 HP 273 Commando engine that had a solid cam, 10.5:1 compression, and a 4-bbl carb. It also came with performance suspension & a 4-speed. He slid off the road & hit some logs while doing a bit of Dukes of Hazzard-style drifting on one of our favorite gravel roads out in Beltrami forest south of Warroad. That messed-up the front clip pretty good, so he grafted the front-end from a totaled '65 Dart onto it & re-painted the car red again. It actually looked real sharp when he was done with it. We named it the 'Duda'. Not surprisingly, he became a body man after high-school & eventually opened his own body-shop.
