Almost all of the time it is non-oxy so I was kind of surprised at this one.

That is odd. I've seen plenty of bad stuff happen with the gasohol crap, but I've never had an issue with non-oxy.

Speaking of non-oxy - I found that my GTP gets 4-5 more MPG on the highway with non-oxy than it does with gasohol premium. That's a whopping 15-17% increase in MPG with non-oxy. Up here in East Bethel, non-oxy is only around 5% more expensive than gasohol premium - so I run non-oxy in the GTP.

Would non oxy make it run richer? Cool sig ya got there.

Given that it repeatably gets better mileage whenever I fill-up from nearly empty with non-oxy, I doubt that it's running richer. If that were the case, I'd be getting worse mileage on non-oxy - right? I've noticed nearly the same MPG increase every time over a number of years, so it's not due to weather, driving style, or where I drive. I assumed that the increase in MPG must be due to the higher BTU content of pure gasoline, and maybe better burn characteristics.

Oh - yeah, I figured that you'd get a kick outta my new sig.

                Cool!

Made it up to 76 today up here in East Bethel. So did you take the 'Bird out for the first cruise of the season?

Not yet Joel, It is running and mostly done. I did get some new drag radials for the car for $125 so I can have some fun with people later this year when our roads are done.

Wow, what a cold week. Guy was just here to measure out for my new driveway. Looks like it will get put in around mid June.
