I am at home now taking it easy. The doc says you have to take it easy for a week as not to blow open the artery in your leg. I sill have back pain but I think it's from the crummy beds they have there. I was able to walk on in the hall several times and the nurse was very surprised by this. I can take a deep breath and hold it for a very long time again and the weird pain by my left shoulder blade is gone so I will know on Mon. How I feel when I do go out for my first real walk.
Again thanks you guys for thinking about me during all of this, if you smoke stop now and if you eat real bad or are excessively over weight lose some. So far I an down 15lbs,This really woke me up, I am only 58 and did not want to end up like my Mom having open heart surgery, was very tough to watch her recover from it.
This year I think we will have TCO get together at Christmas. I have a lot to be thankful for right now.
Are you going to have to swap out those pesky manual transmissions for the old guy automatics now?
Take some time and chill out with some "car guy" movies. I let a friend borrow my collection of American Graffiti, Christine, Bullitt, Gone in 60 Seconds (original), Hollywood Knights, etc. when he was laid up. Let me know if you need something to pass the time.

Thanks Randy, I do have all those movies and I was up and out doing some stuff today. I have has some slight pain in my back again and they my be worried that the stents might be closing up. I guess I will give it a couple of more days and see how I feel. I am on more drugs to keep my blood thin, I had a flu shot the day they let me out and that always makes my feel kind of crappy for a few days. I did gor for a short walk today and felt fine, matter of fact the best I have felt walking in weeks. I do have some back pain anyway as this episode all started so I will keep a close eye on this.
Today has not been so good, I have had a lot of palipatations and feel kind of crummy with some of the same pain I had before the stents. I do hope they are not starting to close up. I will keep you all posted.
Yeah, I'd call em and see when you can go back in to get checked out. As I mentioned earlier, maybe the back pain is from something else not related. Still say you should go back and get checked out just to be sure.
Thanks again for all your kind words and prayers. I feel much better today and some of this may be side effects from the new drugs I am taking. I am getting a rash and that might be from the statin drug I am using. I get to go in for rehab on Thurs. but it looks like I will be the youngest person there so I am not sure how many of these I will go to. I am in very good shape now that I have changed my diet, lost weight and once I can go for longer walks again I will be fine. Suppost to go back to work next Monday, I plan to go swapping on Sunday at the Roadsters show.
Today was pretty sad, not from a physical stand point but the fact that I decided to get my check at work today. I walked in no one said "hi" or "how do you fell" or much of anything to me, just blaring stereos. I guess I work at another "automotive shithole", I can see after today it's time to move on soon.
I did get some bad news the other day, Not about me, but a former co-worker that did have a heart attack last week. He had bypass surgery and now needs a new haeart as his is only 25% pumpking capacity. There is a benefit in Dec. for him so since people helped save my like I will pay it forward and donate some cash to his mounting bills.
