Cedar Falls, Iowa "Night of Fire" Anyone Going? Saturday night. July 20th

Went down to it last year, had a great time! Lot of old Nostalgic Superstock cars, wheelie cars, nostalgic funnycars, Midwest Superstock Mafia cars, etc.............

Planning on going again, just wondering if anyone else was going?

Here are some photos (link below) I took at the event last week. It was a really good show! 11 funny cars showed up for what was supposed to be a 6 car show. They bumped it up to a 8 car show because of the turnout. For the second time (out of the 2 DRO races so far this year) Brian Stewart driving the Bear Town Shaker qualified #1!!!

There was a AA/ Fuel Altered (Nitro Madness) there along with the Orange Crate N/TF'er of Dale Suhr, 3 jet cars, and the wheel standers from the Power Wheelie contest at Byron Dragway. They were a HUGE hit with the fans. Also part of the show was the Geezer Gassers and the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters and the Midwest Super Stock Mafia.

Make sure the play back setting is set to 1080p... I have been having problems with that too...

Joe is down at Cedar Falls right now racing, He called and said he has run the best of 11.22 so far spinning. I told him to lower the tires down and try sliding out the clutch instead of dumping it.
