Sweet! So, 'race-prep' is simply a matter of turning down the Bose 10-speaker surround-sound system.

Caddy's website says 0-60 in 3.9 sec, so they're pretty damned quick even in stock form. In 2014, they're switching the CTS over to the lighter/stiffer/better-handling Alpha chassis from the current ATS - which will also be shared by the next-gen Camaro and the upcoming Buick GN/GNX. And the Alpha platform is designed to accept the blown 6.2L V8 from the current CTS-V. That aught to be interesting! http://wot.motortrend.com/spied-2014...#axzz2OOa0DLIw

GM is definitely back with a vengeance! RWD/AWD platforms sprouting up like weeds. Tuned on the Nürburgring, no less. Blown & intercooled dry-sump aluminum V8s. A twin-turbo aluminum V6 with all-forged internals designed to handle 600 HP that wouldn't look out-of-place in an Indy car. Buicks, Caddys, and Chevys that can take on the best production cars in the world not only at the strip - but also on the circuit track. Looks like some great times ahead for us GM guys!

And.... Ford has Eco-Boost lol, which in my opinion is more of a brilliant marketing plan than anything else.
