The weather dummies are saying 1-3" on Monday.

Now they're saying 6-8" up here. This sucks even worse than a '72 Vega.

But it's supposed to be in the 70s by Sunday. Definitely the strangest spring I've ever seen.

Yeah, it's about time!! On the upside, the salt should be gone from the roads by now. At least up this way. They haven't used any salt up here since the storm before the one last week. Might have to take the GN out for a cruise.

There is still a lot of salt around Elk River and Zimmerman. They went a little crazy when we got the rain->sleet->snow.

On a side note, I was snowmobiling last Saturday in northern MN. :laughing smile: There is still a few feet up there and probably decent riding this weekend, too. I never thought I'd be riding in MN this late into April and getting stuck in the deep snow!

If it wasn't for a Vette event on Saturday, I'd probably go back up for another ride.

                          Randy,

Where were you at up north? I'm from Warroad. Just talked to my brother the other day & he said there's still 3 feet of ice on Lake of the Woods. Looks like it'll be the sound of ice augers rather than boat motors on opener.

Finally! It's already up to 60 here. I'm definitely taking the GN out for a cruise this afternoon.

We stayed in Silver Bay and rode around Finland and Isabella. Put on a 121 miles just playing around. It was real easy to get stuck if you left the trail.

There were some areas where it is over waist deep in the woods.
