GT 500 dont run 11.6 stock

so motor trend says GT500 runs 11.6 but evan smith ran 11.8 and this guy who lerks at ls2 has one that ran 12.1 and he knows how to drive and makes excuses about limiter and da.

I am having fun with the car as is.
I ran it at OSW on Friday night. It went 12.0 @ 123.2 mph. That sounds somewhat unimpressive until you realize the DA was over 2300' and same night, same track two C6Z's were running 119-120 mph. A red '12 on DR's went 12.3 at 119, and a black '12 went 120.
I even tagged the limiter in 2nd slightly on that pass. It would have gone an 11.8/9 at over 124. My '12 GT-R went 11.4 @ 119.5 there in April.
