Boy this sure does suck. I have lived here for over 10 years now and the power has gone out like 25 to 30 times. Now I have the modem powered up with a 12 volt box and we are watching the battery tv. If it goes late I will bring out the generator. I bet it hot down at the ricekiller meet tonight.

Just do what we did in So Illinois when I was a kid and the temps soared and had no a/c. I'd just turn on the ONE fan we had for the whole house and play with the different speeds to pacify my self. Going through the speeds and making car sounds took my mind off of the heat. lol
Oh..that's right... you don't have juice for a fan to work. Ouch! -
The power was back up at around 8pm. All is well now.Comment

HA i was going to reply last night and say that never happens to me in Crystal, then I woke up to no power this morning. Thank god for cell phone alarms!!Comment

I work in White Bear Lake and we were having issues today as well.
We never completely lost power but our welders would not work
properly and out sheer and press brake would not stay running.Comment
