  • Bad local crash at one of the hot spots

Got a call that there was a bad crash down on Spring street, Anyone else hear of anything?. Sounds like 2 people got hurt. Wonder if it's true or some more made up drama.

That's too bad. Scary surface with sand and dirt can bring bad results.

That is too bad, but why on earth would you not put your harness or seat belts on in a race. That is just plain stupid, I guess live and learn.

The article says the driver is 44, and this just happened the other night. The guy in the mugshot is 25. He was convicted of murder & was sent to St. Cloud in March of this year.

So...could the driver be 25 and was packing a 44? lol

But seriously...that's a shame to ruin a '67 clowning around. And like Bob says, no seat belt or harness? Wow, that's too risky. The whole thing was too risky.

We need an affordable track closer to the cities!

The super track idea is fine but you know test and tune days would be a $100. Most likely more. Actual races even more. We need a small track with expenses that can be paid by weekly street car racing and the occasional 'show'. 'Show' can mean any number of different things.

Let's keep us racers safe and out of jail.

Yeah, logic would tell us that's a solution to the street racing problem. Unfortunately, I just don't see it happening anywhere near the TC.
