Joe could sell his civic-duty-civic and get this rare jewel. Near hybrid mileage too!

Then he could put a big turbo on it and name the car Stangslayer II. :laughing smile:

Eddy's son has a real nice hatch like that and from what I hear it's pretty fast too. Might give Joe a fit if a little Honda handed him is ass this year right off the bat.

I saw Nate at Cedar Falls last fall. If I remember right he ran something like 10.40's at 145mph.

as I remember Glenn and Bob were at the rock one time and that kid ran 14's with that honda. seems like they can make one good pass and then those cars spin all over the place

The only thing that Nate ever had that ran in the 10's was his mouth.

I don't know the exact number Nate ran at the Midway shootout, but as I remember it, it was in the 10's with a bunch of MPH. With a auto transmission the car would fly, but it is either spooling up or spinning now.
A small engine with a big turbo and a manual trans is a tough combo to get working right, throw in FWD and it is going to take some real good power management, and a sticky track.
Still remember Stangslayer and a roll race from about 50 MPH when the Triumph was still running a 125 HP shot, well it was way to close and had a big influence on me getting a turbo.
Oh and I did a search, looks like he has gone at least 10.0 @148
