      No, the converter is different due to the the lock up feature. Also you can put in a manual VB and eliminate the need to have a aftermarket shift box due to the fact that 4L80E trannys are electronic shift, So with a manual VB you sort of have a stick shift without hurting you're leg.

        If I go with a 4L80e I was planning a manual VB, was just wondering if a non-lockup converter would work. Wonder what a stock lockup converter would flash to was a bunch of torque?

              I want the mnf-body discount at the parts store to come back how it was before.. nobody uses it anymore, and it was a discount that increased based on sales
