I have to work so it's a no go for me. Would have like to see Paul Pitman's new car run.

You and I think alike Eric N.
I remember sitting in the stands at BIR Nats and when the stockers and super stockers came out, most left to go elsewhere. I heard others say their cars could beat the cars out there on the track.
They obviously didn't have a clue.
I can even relate to a slower stocker running 12's or 13's. People have no idea what it takes to make one run competitively.

Thanks for the pics! On my bucket list is racing my 1974 Dodge Dart Sport 360.Its only been to the track once at BIR. G-60-14 tyres,3sp stick,no tach,3.21 gears, through the stock mufflers. The only thing that wasn't stock were headers. I rejeted the carb(Thermoquad) and got 22.9 mpg to the track with beer, tent, two kids, wife, and other camping junk, food and the like. The best time was 14.19@97mph. I dont think that was too bad. I went 3 rounds. For a Mopar A body, the things a pig at 3580lbs with me in it. All the NHRA rules and such and $30,000,I might run the index.Drag Racing, just you,me,and the tree!!
