I have one of these, but I haven't run it in at least a year.. last time I took it out was with a friend in the middle of winter. with the crusty snow I could cruise over the top of it. then I jumped it off of the retaining wall and broke a mount for the rear tie rod. hasn't moved since, because parts are not easy to find for it.

has a different body on it, so it looks less dumb.. I hated the stock body

Cool RC rides! I used to be into RC cars. I raced on & off-road back in the late 80s & early 90s, but I haven't owned one in some time. Nowadays, planes & helicopters pretty much eat up my RC budget.

I've been messing with on-board video on a few of my planes & I put some of the clips up on 'Tube. I also shot a few 'hatcam' clips of me flying. If anyone is interested, I'll post a few of 'em on here.

Here's a clip of one of my friends driving his 1/5-scale HPI Baja 5B SS around the parking lot. And this was with a leaky carb gasket.

BTW - how does one post a video so it is directly viewable within the post, rather than linking to it?

                  RC on-board video

Here's an on-board video taken from my Precision Aerobatics Extra 260. The cam can't deal with the prop, so the aliasing is really bad - but you can get an idea of how the plane performs. Airframe is a carbon-fiber/balsa/plywood laminate. It weighs just two pounds all-up, and it's powered by a 480W 3-phase brushless motor & a 3-cell 2200 mAh LiPo pack. Power to weight is 0.32 HP/lb.

RC on-board video of my yard

Here's a clip I shot from my 20" wingspan de Havilland Mosquito twin-engine fighter. It's powered by a pair of micro brushed motors. I'm taking off from my backyard, and then flying over my land.

Here's some video of my 1/4-scale Super Cub. Wingspan is over 8 feet, and it's powered by a 1.6 cube OS flat-twin four-stroke:
