Thank you. I really have a blast driving it, especially at the open track days at BIR and MAM. I've also met some great people just because I have a goofy car.

Can you use a mechanical clutch with that or a hyd. one?. that housing is sweet.

I am going to use the adapter plate with my t-56 in the bird

looked into an adapter plate setup, but for the olds required a stock bop bellhousing, an ls1 imput shaft swap into the lt1 setup, plus the plate and other crap to make my lt1 trans work...this housing eliminates that nonsense, for about the same price or less if someone else did the trans work... I scored a full hydraulic setup with slip on throwout bearing a couple years ago for like 250 bucks with pedals modified for a gbody. similar to this.

so that is what I shall be going with. guy had it in a gbody monte. with a t-5 I want to say. been a couple years since I dug all the info he gave me back out.

I think mcleod makes a kit of some sort to conversion from factory mechanical to work with this, however, Idk what that entails, as the only mcleod dealer I talked to couldn't beat summits price on it, nor could they get me any information. also tried to email tnt, as they were a mcleod dealer when I originally was looking into this setup, to no response.. they aren't listed as a dealer for them anymore on the site either.
