Went to the Rock this morning and all was good 'till around 10:30 then it started to rain. Saw KrisR there and he ran 11.89 at like 119 or something close to that, It started to rain and never stopped and Glenn said it was dry here, Figures. We all got a free day to race next year so that was nice of Al Corda to do that as he usually just refunds the tech card.
There was a new cobra there that I thought was slow, 50K for something that runs low 12's or high 11's is an absolute pig.
My buddy with his 502 had some trouble but we will get it running better next year. He had a 2.0 60ft. so I know that car is spinning the tires, A few changes and it will be easy 11's for him.
I ran the best of 12.15 with way less cam and a smaller intake, Looks like this combo will slip right into the bird next year that's why I wanted to test it today. I just wish I could have sprayed it again as it pulled right up to 6K and no misfires or brake up.
All in all it was a good year running a low 10's and over 130mph. Thanks again to JHM for the help with the dyno session and tuning also thanks to Glenn for getting me there. Looks like the 9 will have to wait for 2011 but it will be easier to get net year.
